There are Annual Shields for the highest points scorer for boys & girls - 2006/07 winners were Tim Rolfe & Sophia Haine. To see how your National Rating is calculated visit www.lta.org.uk Club Rankings This ranking scheme, which runs alongside our Club Ratings setup, places players according to their results throughout the year, from April 1st. Points are given for matches played, wins, beating a higher rated player/older player/adult, & higher ranked juniors. All arranged club events carry points & in certain tournaments extra points are available for the winner, runner-up, semi- & quarter-finalists. At the year end (March) a Masters Event will take place for the prizes. 2006 winners were Rory Smith & Sophia Haine.

LTA Supported Ranking Events To improve your Ranking (& Rating) we are holding events for 12&U, 14&U & 16&U at the Club. Entry fee is £8 & you will play 3 short set matches. 8 entries will be taken per event on receipt of entry fee. You will be notified of your start time on the Sunday before each event . John Jeffery Junior Rating Tournament 2008 We hold three Grade 4 Ranking events each year. The first is in the February half term, one over the early May Bank Holiday weekend & the summer one running normally the last week of July. The week long tournaments have events as follows: Boys & Girls singles at 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U, 18&U & doubles events at 12&U, 14&U, 16&U & 18&U. You can enter 2 singles events i.e. 12 and 14, or 16 and 18 as they will be played on alternate days - Monday 12's &16's, Tuesday 14's &18's. Entries Closed 10&U 12&U 14&U 16&U 18&U Boys Entries - Doubles events for 12's/14's may still occur. National Junior Club League Teams 4 players, all play a singles, & a doubles, played during March, April, & May. 2008 Teams entered at 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U. The Girls and Boys 12&U & 14&U teams won their league. As did the Boys 16's. 2007 The Girls 12&U & 14&U both won the division but were unable to field a team for the playoffs. 2006 Boys 14&U qualified to play Taunton (won 3-1),beat West Hants 2-2 & faced Bodmin in Regional Final but lost 2-2. (Rory Smith, James Hammond, Fergus Littlejohn) 2005 The Boys 12&U lost to David Lloyd Bristol. The Girls 12&U conceded to Oxford. 2004 Only the Girls 11&U team won their division & played a very strong Oxford Sports side in the playoffs. Georgia Sutton, Anna Featherstone & Flora Burns all lost 2003 Boys 17s, 13s & 11's & Girls 15s all won their Division to reach the playoffs. The U17 boys beat East Dorset 4-1 (Tom Williams, Chris Chapman & Matt Harmer), Kings, Bristol 4-1 (T Williams, C Chapman, Peter James) but then lost 0-5 to Torquay (T Williams, C Chapman, Dicken Chaplin)The Under 11 Boys beat Bath in a thrilling match, but lost to West Hants (Rory Smith, James Hammond, Harry Chaplin). The U13 boys lost to Bath 0-5 (Harry Williams, James Brazier, Ken Burns). Nicola Harmer, Miranda Naish & Abby Burns lost to Totnes in the U15 girls playoff.
